Itazura na Kiss (1996) - First Japanese Version - 9/10
Episodes: 9
This version was the first adaptation based on the original manga. In my opinion, Kashiwabara Takashi was the best among all the actors who played Naoki. He was able to show the strugles of an adolescent trying to choose the best path in life in a very convincing way. Sato Aiko was also very good in her role, not so naive as in the other versions of Kotoko and I was just happy everytime she was able to scold Naiko.
The problem here were the last three episodes, in which Naoki seemed to be too confused and I really hated him. Anyway, this doesn't take long and this one is good...
